Taking Action: Precious Ebere

Precious Ebere is committed to ensuring that women and children have access to inclusive and quality education, health and equal opportunities.
She is a co-founder at Do, Take Action, a civic startup on a mission to build an active community of young and old people taking action to drive sustainable development in their locality.

Since the establishment of Do, Take Action in 2014, Ebere has been able to support over 2000 beneficiaries (direct and indirect impact). She has pioneered various projects including Creators and Influencers for Social Change, Grassroots Development Champion and Relief Hub.
In 2017, Ebere organised the I-Woman (Innovative Woman) ICT Training, in which she was able to empower 200 women within Abuja, setting them on a path towards financial independence, leveraging technology.
Precious Ebere is a Community Development Specialist with experience across technology, civic leadership and youth engagement.
Postscript
To mark 16 Days of Activism, I am honouring 16 Remarkable Women who painstakingly work to educate on gender inequality, human rights and putting an end to violence against women and girls.
